congrats on 100 reviews man, i'm pretty much in a similar spot as you. thrice has been my longest musical obession. as awesome as the end of "to awake" is, the feel change at 2 minutes of "so strange" is one of the most euphoric moments of music i've ever heard.

whys everyone always hate on music box? I love that song. The breakdown at the end kicks ass, same with the chorus. The verses are a tad weak, but thats it.

For over two years, surprisingly not as a result of Sputnik, I've enjoyed this album and it has received countless plays from me. I've grown to love Thrice because of this album and appreciate every musical direction they've taken. I do, however, sincerely believe this was their absolutely greatest effort to date. This is the stuff bands wished they could release.

This review perfectly mirrors my life and how they affected me. It's one of those situations where i remember exactly where i was when i first heard put this in my Cd player and listened to it all the way through. It was that profound to me. This and Full Collapse are the reason i fell in love with music.
