You're always bound to get a few of those with negative reviews for popular albums. The one I got for my Three Days Grace review was mind boggling:
TDG produces art to listen to not music for your disposable. Stop complaining and bagging out Adam on his singing - that's just his nature. You can't complain and if you not happy go make your own album the way you want it. Also, don't compare TDG to stereotypical music in their genre of music. They are their own and unique in their own right - just like every other musician. And just because their verses build up only to a mild chorus then that's the way their cookie crumbles (lol). Stop comparing them to the conventions! Again, (while reading there are so many damn criticisms you bluntly make) TDG recycles subject matter. No one freaking cares because they're obviously topics Adam and the band can relate and sing about.
I feel now TDG are on the border line of being moneymakers or true artists we'll know by the next album. [Jared Ponton], you are highly judgmental so be quiet because you know nothing of MUSIC. There is a huge difference in being a generic musician and artist. I hope that TDG remain an artist and NOT fall into the business and monetary side of music.
It's not a choice in being a musician spewing music and lyrics and disbanding. How could you even suggest such an outrageous statement? You are beyond mediocre, you douche.
And please, [Jared Ponton], if you believe "Life Starts Now" is a complete failure, why don't you go write a better album and see how much musicality there is in it! People these days have no respect for real music. They are brash with their comments and unreasonable in their conclusions.
Mr Douche Bag, and any other person, please read my comment to another mentally incapable commentator for this album here: http://www.musicianforums.com/review_32494.

And then the one he linked to:
First, to the write and so called "fan" of TDG, shut up.
Second, I don not know where you live or what radio station you listen to but in Australia we hear nothing of TDG on the radio. I'm a huge fan of theirs and am really proud of the music they have produced in "Life Starts Now". Sure, there are some songs that are not as easy-listening as others but still has that music quality which TDG has managed to maintain in ALL of their songs. It is something we, as listeners, are accustomed to hearing. For a band that no one here in Aus knows about they have out done themselves again by introducing new sounds with Barry showing us what he is really capable of on guitar and hearing Adam experimenting with different vocal styles.
To Three Days Grace, I say well done!
For all the other people who decide to bag out TDG then get lost and get a life. When it comes to music, I listen to the quality and musicality of songs. This means I love music ranging from Classical to Bosanova, Pop to Death Metal. E.g. in the classical piece, "Adagio in G Minor" by Tomas Albinoni there is a great sense of sadness and beauty which can be mirrored in the metal song "Snuff" by Slipknot (from All Hope Is Gone album).
Learn to listen and accept all types of music...

"WHO WROTE THIS, I WANT TO KISS THEM"
Some guy named Alize.
Or a guy. No idea.
Album was disappointing. I liked their self-titled better, but that's not saying much.

The thing I like is that instead of trying to get as many Ugandan Dollars as possible they've taken a step back. Too bad it is probably done as more of a tribute to the Rev (RIP) and they may just revert back to stuff like Scream and A Little Piece of Heaven.

I'm guessing that Nightmare is the only good song on this album?

Excellent review, I don't know why anyone has neg'd this. As for the album, I'm not sure if I'm going
to even bother listening to it. After the astonishingly bad album they put out last time, I'm very
bias against them now. I mean, that album was so bad, it still prevents me from enjoying their first 2
albums (which prior to their 2007 album, I moderately enjoyed).

Funny how the reviewer says songs should have minutes cut short from them when he fingers himself to "Sun Kil Moon" which is just basically 6 minutes of uninspired droning every song.
