The age at which you listen to things, combined with what bands you listen to determines what you rate things. It may sound obvious, and it is. What people don't realize is that due to the subjectivity of music, bands like Trivium and A7X can be fives to certain people. It's a bit hypocritical for people to bash on other users for rating things that they once liked highly (that's not to say I don't do the same).

For the record, Mimi, I'm not one of the people who thinks you need to grow out of Avenged Sevenfold. Clearly, I never have. Trivium either. I think it's legitimate music. (No offense, Hollier, your view point is respectable.)



But you'll learn eventually that, well, what constitutes a classic is different that what constitutes just a good, great, or excellently done album. This album isn't a classic. A classic should go down in history, influence other artists, etc.
