Still in the very early phases. I proposed it to everyone, and everyone verbally said they were "in." When we wrote PATP we were spread out between Peru and two different US states. Currently it's 3 US states and Uganda. Certainly not ideal and it makes for slow writing, but we've dealt with it before.

I know Sigh.

We started working on a bit of stuff and then life got in the way! I now live in Dallas, the vocalist lives in NYC, bass player is still in NC, and the other two guys are in Nashville. #foreveronhiatus I guess. I'd be all for it and I've made it known, but it's been hard to pull together.

I always wished I could get guitar tabs for this album. This thing is so underrated

I'm just listening to it again right now, and it still holds up really well. Like if BTBAM dropped 60% of the wankery.

Listened to the whole album today as well, still a hard 4.5. Better than any BTBAM album imo

Eureka - it's a christmas miracle. For whatever reason, my login stopped working for this site over a year ago and I've never been able to get it working again. I still lurk and read reviews but don't post as a result. Since this month is the 10 year anniversary of this release, I happened to pop by this review. After seeing a few comments from you guys, I took some time today and somehow got the login to work. (Honestly not sure what changed)

First, thanks a ton for still caring. It actually means a lot to see some people still vibing with this record 10 years later.

Second, no updates on any new material . The logistics are just tough and it has to feel right to be worth it. A few riffs or ideas here and there were passed around, but nothing really came of it. We're all friends, but as I stated before, we're just all over the country and have jobs and family yadda yadda yadda. Never say never, but there are no real plans.

Third, if you find a guitar tab for this album, let me know. I don't think I even remember most of my parts on this album. :x

Hey man, no worries. Glad to see you still kicking around here. Even if there is nothing new on the horizon, I'm still content we got this one.

I'll jam it today for the anniversary m/

Album still slaps hard. The instrumental ending of Dismembered and Devoured is one of my favourite moments in prog metal.

So, I cleared about a bunch of saved passwords and cleared this one by mistake and am not sure how to reset it, without the forum active. So, I bit the bullet and made a new account. (Formerly JamieCTA).

Bloc and Emim: I know this is about 1.5 years late, but for what it's worth, it really means a lot to see even a couple people still enjoying a record that we put so much time into.

I've tried and failed multiple times to form new bands that I felt a similar passion for, but over the years I've realized I just got really lucky with CTA, playing music with close friends and being able to create something we were all equally enthused about. The older you get, the harder it is to find that.

That being said, I have a new band. It's been an uphill battle to get us to all get on the same page about song arrangements and style/mix. But we are at least releasing one song that I'm really excited about. Band name is this username (Pale Bloom). So, if/when you ever see this comment, would love for you to check it out. It's more in the vein of Hum/Nothing/Title Fight - certainly not metal.

Thanks again. It's a blast from the past to read through these comments.

Dude! Great to see you back around these parts!

Getting a band together, especially as you get older just gets harder and harder so I feel you on that. Glad that you were able to get one situated, even if it's not in the form of more CTA. Becoming the Archetype did get back together so maybe another miracle isn't out of the question 😉

I'll definitely give the new song/band a listen
