WHOOOOAAA!!! Why the hell is this album so immensely hated, with a passion?!
So didnt c this coming, i thought it would have good reviews. I honestly thought this was a pretty good album, with some really good heavy songs like Knives and Pens to great emotional acoustics like Mortician's Daughter.. guitar solos were good i thought, wats wrong with them? Sure, the riffs can get generic but i love the bright countermelodies and the rippin solos, sure its no Slash but impressive for a modern band especially in post-hardcore. BUT CUMMON THE SOLO OF KNIVES AND PENS!!! as if that aint impressive?
Also the singer's voice is a very subjective thing, my ears happen to enjoy his voice, tho some ppl mite hate it. thts something u can never escape.. but what u cannot escape is that he USES his voice emotionally, diversely, proficiently. Espeically in songs like "Carolyn," where he displays a very mature but catchy voice.
Definately some Avenged Sevenfold, BFMV, Escape the Fate, Atreyu, Alesana influence.. but hell i love those bands so i cant complain! obviously this is a biased review where all the haters come on expecting some non-emo happy uncreative 80s rock or some shit...? get with the times, i igonre the lyrics anyway im far from emo but it duznt matter its catchy and impressive to a lotta ppl... 16M views on youtube for a post-hardcore song thts saying something! Almost as much as Escape The Fate's "Situations."

haha fuck you all. you have no taste in music and the fact is Black Veil Brides is an amazing band, the music proves it, the fans prove it, and the numbers prove it. BVB managed to maintain a growing number of fans for a couple years with only 1 music video and an ep no full cd yet and they had more dedicated fans then most other people. their new cd just added to their succsess n we r not called bridesmaids we r bvb nation or bvbarmy dipshits. learn facts before u post dumb shit
