The whole amalgamation is amazing but that solo is just superb. Also I wish they'd update us on the new album

@lal: The band is very unique and changes it's sound on pretty much every album. Truly progressive

So are we not going to talk about the album teaser that was just released?

It's not much but I'm a little pumped for it. Production sounds like the Road Salt albums

god I always find teasers are so lame. Just wait and promote a full single.

Anyways it had some sweet polyrhythms in there. hype!

Wow, now this, this seems interesting!

@Lalchimiste On the contrary, a teaser gives just enough to taste the final product, but doesn't spoil it. I have stopped listening to singles (haven't listened the new Riverside, for instance) because when I listen the album, it's going to ruin the flow to know a whole song. But a teaser is both indicative and cryptic.

I get your point. I still find the single more compelling and I usually like to only listen to one or none if, like you, I dont want to ruin the "full album experience" for a lack of better words.

I hope the production is rich (lowering the expectations because of the teaser), and there's a lot of cool experimentation. (The second part is probably a certainty tbh).

Daniel said it'll be prog metal like the band's roots. I just hope he's doing that because he's mentally there as opposed to succumbing to fan pressure

Daniel is very stubborn and self-centered (meaning, he does what he pleases) to do such a thing, especially with his current mentality. If I was him, I'd probably be in a ''fuck everyone, I just survived!'' state. Besides, Falling Home EP didn't sound as an attempt to pursue fans.

Yeah that's most likely the case. Daniel hasn't done anything for anyone else in his whole career, and that's why its been so diverse and fascinating
