This review would be way more hilarous if the sarcasm was at all subtle.
^
I agree.

John Hanson, what was the gist of your 2-star sarcastic review for this album?

Sorry to intrude into your little boxes of self-delusion, guys, but As the Roots Undo is mostly atrocious.

Album Rating: 4.5
Your taste in music is atrocious.

no, i am not kattunlover or any of those filthy neggers. kattunlover was an idiot, and so is anyone who has this album rated below a 4.5!
wise Adam Downer, what are your favorite CTTS lyrics? =)

I am also exceedingly curious about Admiral Butthurt's favorite CTTS lyrics
|

Adam Downer and John Hanson are awesome but i don't understand why they don't want to say what their favorite CTTS lyrics are
i respect them as writers so much that no doubt they have good reasons for saying that CTTS has amazing lyrics and the most interesting in the genre of screamo. i want them to impart their wisdom
=)

"i know its all been done before/i wanna do it again i wanna do it again/life is lowly anonymity/in death a noble prose/a marat david"
good choice! what do you think this means?
|
| |
you may know me as Rembrandt. what is your favorite lyric Adam Downer?
|
| |
that whole song is really just a whole bunch of lyrical references to life as art. a marat david is just a roundabout reference to death of marat.
that makes sense, John Hanson. but doesn't Drew seem to be saying that it's not Life that is art? he seems to be saying that Death is what is art, not Life. art would thus seem to be thanatotic, and not biotic
