this is boring and theres not one song that stands out at all on this album. this is exile is still their best bit of work by far.

their vocalist sounds like his throat is being torn out by a kitten, when he's out there live. I think the biggest reason they do sound so generic is because their vocalist really only has one area that he's comfortable. And every song he's talking about the same fucking thing.

Well it doesnt help that they have 3 guitarists, 1 of which is dedicated only to Juns, and the occasional lick. and by lick, it will go from Open handed chugging, to possibly bringing it down to the 8th frett, WOAH

i was just talking about that earlier today... the majority of processed metal albums have multiple guitar tracks anyway. these guys just do it live by having a third guitar. slipknot has 3 drummers for fuk's sake.......

At least Slipknot uses different kinds of drums and it actually adds something. Whitechapel could simply just hook up another amp to the rhythm guitarist and it'd sound exactly the same.
