Someone that has never heard this band would be the only one to make a unbiased judgement on that, though.

It has some good moments throughout the songs but nothing really stuck out to me. Maybe I need to listen to it more but I really wasn't impressed. Still the best fear factory album is and always will be Demanufacture. However, it is always badass to hear some new Gene drumming.

I was actually thinking about this at work after seeing the outrageously high scores for this album. It's no more than a 3.5-4 for me. Obsolete is still better.

It's around about a 3.7 or so for me. I'm giving them a 4 for a sexy comeback of sorts.
The 4.5 and 5's are all Fear Factory fans. It happens with every album. Fans come in and rate it all kinds of crazy and then people come in later and are like; "wtf you guys are retarded!".
This is not a 4.5 or 5 by any means.
