Yeah I'll need to listen to that album more but the opening track does rule fucking hard.
This album is still boring me but it has a few good parts so I guess a 3 should suffice.

After first hearing it I can tell that it's good, but I don't have that "wow" feeling I got after TSD was over.
I have TSD a 4.5, whereas this wasn't quite as good.

I wouldn't say this is identical to TSD. It's an extension of the style but it's slower for the most part, I almost want to say "doomier." It's a little too long also, 45 minutes of this would be perfect, but almost an hour is a bit much.
I think The Smoke is my favorite track.

It's death metal, just not in the form you're thinking of. Put it this way, it's like gateway death metal, everyone needs to take babysteps before entering the elitism.
