no I just hate his smug brand of kitschy baby pop more and more with every day that passes
also read the recording backstory on literally any George song post-Sgt Pepper and you'll hate Paul as much as I do. dude's an egoist fuckhead

the new mix of this sounds pretty phenomenal imo. nice to actually hear the instruments under Spector's 10 billion layers of reverb for the first time

I guess the comparison is fair, but they haven't stripped out any instruments, just the layers and layers of echoey reverb. so you can actually hear more instruments on the new mix, not less like on Naked (who knew there was a whole ass horn solo on Wah Wah? I did not)

don't be a rowan about this, best/worst Beatle discussions are confined to the Beatles era and anyone who disagrees is a filthy capricorn

Ram is legitimately good tbf if only his post-Beatles stuff trended more in that direction and less to... fucking Wings lol

Second half comebacks are all very well but there's no competing with Ringo's one-for-one batting avg there

medley rly is George Martin's triumph more than anything else. the sequencing and transitions make it more than the sum of its parts, the parts themselves aren't really that great
will give it up for Give Me Your Money and The End tho they rip
