Hmmm...a 4.0 average rating, given a 5.0 by DaveyBoy along with a praising review...and yet not Staff-picked?

I wonder if it's makes a difference that this album is months upon months old already.

Upped this to a 5. I hate myself for it but this might be in contention with MPP for my favorite album of the year; nothing else has been able to touch these two for me.

speaking of the harsh screams in the first track, that's honestly what tickles me most about this album and i love 'em

"I wonder if it's makes a difference that this album is months upon months old already. " I don't think so, but I don't really care enough to look into it. A Davey Pick is above a Staff Pick anyway. LOL.

"great review. Stealing this now." Thanks cleary... And I know you mean "buying this now". Give it a few more listens mate. I still think the musicianship is pretty great. They go out of their way to balance technicality with melody. It's a tricky thing to accomplish.

"Upped this to a 5. I hate myself for it..." Good stuff... And there is no need at all for the self-hate.

"I love this album so much...." And now you must rate it a classic 5. Come on folks, let's get this into the Sputnik top 50 of '09.

2 more ratings below 3 and it'll be back to a 3.9 anyway.

seems weird this is getting so much attention now. i remember when it first came out and nobody gave a fuck. it's still definitely not one of the best records of the year.

Finally listened to this the other night; it's good, but not amazing. Will be giving it a few more listens though.

I know that. It's still average, regardless of who the rating associates it with.

good review, and absolutely perfect album. i just wish everyone would stop calling I'm only a man a mistake. Its still a fairly good album and there are some good songs on it. although there are some totally shitty songs too.

If you're slating this record you should really give it a couple more listens. I had no idea what the fuss was about the first couple of times!

Dear Death Pt's 1 and 2 are now the only songs I find to be less than excellent on this.
