... & bl00dy expensive too. A Festival Hall gig should never be that expensive.

Both NZ's shows haven't sold out from memory. Oh yeah, Happy New Year Oz.

Gunman sounds like psychedelic Opeth.

...it was a big disappointment for me... I probably expected too much from this effort... I can't help myself, but it sounds to me like B leftover material from Queens of the stone age...

This really had to grow on me. At first listen it was everything I expected from these guys, but in the most boring and generic fashion. But when you give this a few more listens it sinks in and it's quite impressive.

I don't love this album but a few tunes off this album are very good. Elephants is their best song imo. Grohl and company won't disappoint.

This album is solid. I think the reviewer had some valid points but I would say this album hovers around a 4 or 4.5. Excellent debut from three very solid musicians.
Anyone that rates this below a 3.5 really needs their ears checked.

how the hell is this band NOT popular and shit like nickelback is

I'm starting to like this more and more, which is good because I've always been a big Homme fan. Shame that some of the songs are just too long.

What I listened to from this was really boring.
|
| |
yeah i haven't listened to this in ages but i remember being pretty disappointed with it

This would have been better if they trimmed out some of the length. At first I was like, this is pretty cool, but it just dragged on

I can see a lot of the album being boring for some people, but there's got to be at least ONE fun track on the album that they can take.
I haven't listened to many, but this is probably the best supergroup I've heard. I think it was Josh Homme who even inspired me to pick up the guitar in the first place.

The main riff in Gunman is one of the best riffs I've heard in a while
