Makes total sense. Band are definitely one I need to spend a lot more time with, seem like a Boney essential - but there are a lot of those for me to get to at the moment.

Things come and go, somethings just stick no matter what. R.E.M are one of them bands. They were absolutely bloody massive around the time this came out but there was something there that kept it all grounded. Probabaly the fact they did things on their own terms. 'Let's follow up our biggest album with a maudlin, downtempo exploration into death'
The label must've shit themselves.
