To mediocre, Closer is one of the middle songs on the album in terms of quality imo. The Becoming is my second favorite song ever.

Electric City: Boring!? The moments that aren't aggresive are meant to be basked in - the silence and soft stuff is in there for a reason too. I hope that's not what you mean by boring.

That absolutely is not what I mean by boring. My favorite parts of the album are A Warm Place, Hurt, and The Downward Spiral. I mean the middle huge clunky tracks like I Do Not Want This and Big Man With A Gun. I don't know. I Do Not Want This grows on you after a few listens, at least it did for me. Big Man With a Gun is the only possible "bad" track on this album.
