I didn't say POD were bad, I just didn't think they were one of the bigger names in Nu-Metal is all.

none of their singles were even close to as huge as that stupid youth of a nation song. i was a connoisseur of fine nu metal when i was 14.

regardless, no one cites this band as an influence, and they did nothing for their genre.

Alive was way bigger out in NZ than Youth ever was
Southtown was a big hit, Sleeping Awake as well
By no means the biggest nu metal act around but 1 hit wonders is pushing it

I don't care how successful they were
I'm talking about them not being 1 hit wonders

They had 3 big-time singles from Satellite, 2 from Fundamental Elements, some more minor hits from Payable On Death album and Testify + Goodbye for now which was pretty big at least down here.

i agree, they were really helped pioneer the genre. and they are definitely not one hit wonders.

yeah I can easily count 7-9 hits by them right off the top of my head if anyone asks.

hell, in my opinion their singles are most of their best songs.

that is arguable, but the singles were definitely well chosen and were good representatives of the respected albums

for sure, they did a great job choosing the singles. and as far as the singles being the best, it was in my opinion, ego-boy.
