The only point for me to bring up selling numbers is to prove that not all their fans are satisfied with the new record. Brand New have a very solid and rabid fanbase, one that I'm part of, but that doesn't mean I'll call as brilliant because it has their name on it. I supported them buying the record, I'll support them going to shows, but I won't call something that I think it's pretty bad as good just because.

I don't like Burzum but you don't see me constantly bitching about it. The best thing you can do is outline your opinion and that's that. you being annoyingly vocal in your distaste for an album and pulling bullshit out of your ass to keep the argument going isn't gonna convert people to your side, especially on a site like sputnik where we all are holier than thou snobs about music. it actually makes people think less of whatever you write and you yourself turn into nothing more than a troll or gimmick, regardless of your intentions.
