I wasn't implying a drop in intelligence at all. The "common man" there is alluding to the mainstream media.

Make sure we keep those album ratings as low as possible. When you dislike things, it makes you cool and talented.

Nope.

When you like and dislike things, it makes you an individual.

I could not stand this album. I can't even listen to it at all. To me it sounds nothing like their sound at all. I liked their last two albums and I am very disappointed that they even made a new album. Only song I can actually listen to is World So Cold.

I always thought that they had some cool guitar melodies in the past and in this album I have no idea what to think about them. Sounds like they are trying to get some pop in their sound? Or dare I say "hip hop"?

I guess the only comforting thought is that I can delete this album and pretend that it never happened.

Curse.

Well, I'm a TDG and yeah I liked the album.

I'm pretty sure the previous album was pretty better though.

I think that the thing about this album is that they followed a storyline.. it's always the same theme along the album.. whoever got the context right, understood that it was like each song a chapter.. from bitter taste which is an obvious relationship break up, to break which is wanting to get away from everybody, to the good life which is actually overcomeing this break up, to last to know the melancoholic balad, to life starts now which getting a second chance to love at life.. of course those are the main points... the other songs have messages to, but i only mentioned the most importants.

If i can resume this, it's good, but not so good as I was expecting.

I also think that this album was less thinked and less worked than One X.. and the lyrics are not horrible..

Horrible is when doesnt make any sense at all.. those do make sense, but yeah they're pretty easy to understand.. I would prefer not having to use the term "crappy"..

as I said , I'm a fan, so I don't know if i can completely objective at this.. then again, who is it ?

Ya don't listen to much music do you? Ambiguous lyrics are some of the best. Easy to understand lyrics are usually pretty generic and boring.

This album is so forgettable, it's painful. I have all three of their albums on my iPod, which is usually on shuffle. The other day one of the Life Starts Now songs came on and I didn't realize till the end that it was not from their debut. I can't even remember which song it was. The name or the tune. For me, life starts again when I'm not hearing this album any longer.

I'm not saying it's not boring or generic. I'm saying the lyrics are not horrible. My point is: if

you wanna criticise, do something better first then. Don't point your finger to the others until you

can prove yourself .

I agree with fromtheinside about the tribute.

Cause Roger Ebert is an ground breaking movie director right? Critical music assessment should be left only to cream of the crop artists right?

Hopefully you can see the flaw in your argument... but somehow I doubt it.

Haha

Look, I'm not here looking for a fight.. so, if you're trying to piss me off, just quit xD

I have my opinion, you have yours. BUT, keep in mind that I have reasons to believe that I can distinguish better than you what lyrically is good or bad.

You still used about the most annoying arguing tactic in the world. You don't have to be a chef to know when you're being served a steaming turd on a plate.

Arguing tactic ?

You're not very smart, are ya ?

I just said I'm not here to argue -.-

Much less with someone that can't make a simple distinction between a horrible lyric and a generic one -.-

I was dissapointed wit hthis album at first, but now I think it's good. The drum fills in bitter taste and the piano in ladt to know... gotta love it.

don't just go off of this guys retarded review...listen to the album and find out for yourselves. three days grace fans wanted the band to expand and thats exactly what they did with this album. "Lost in You" is a song about love, which is something they don't sing about hardly ever in their last album. "Last to Know" is only piano and vocals through half the song, something the band has never done before. Plus, instumentally, the band is more solid then ever. There are guitar solo's here and there throughout the album. The drums offer some new, fresh sounds. In my opinion, this is their most solid album. give it a try don't just read a negative review.
