Not exactly.

They're better from Anthrax though, that's for sure.

Except Slayer. Early Slayer is on another level.

Early Slayer rules, but early Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax and Testament rules at least as hard.

tbh, was never big on slayer

anthrax is more or less universally agreed to be that one that's a bit below the rest regarding the big four (i personally disagree, but y'know), and the hiccups in metallica and megadeth's careers are a bit too significant for me to overlook

i just feel like testament's career overall has been more impressive than any big four members. rust in peace is classic, yes, but then theres shit like world needs a hero and risk that bog down the discography

i think testament's weak albums arent as numerous nor as bad as those of the big four

the bad albums don't really affect how i see the bands because i can just, you know... not listen to them

I suppose. Meh, different strokes and whatnot, I can see why Testament's not considered to the same standard by some, but I personally disagree.

Also think Overkill's above them, which I'm sure a lot of people would fervently disagree with.

My opinions can more or less be summed up as "I'm a moron" because it's the most accurate description.

Both Overkill and Testament have been admirably consistent throughout their respective careers, far more so than the Big Four.

metallica > megadeth > testament > overkill > megadeth > anthrax
