Do people jam this with or without the bonus tracks? Just curious - don’t know what’s seen as canon and what isn’t.

That's a good Q as there appears to be alterative versions, hmm
I'm listening to the one with a live rendition of 'Mistake' as the closer - which I had already assumed was a bonus track, but I've seen a track-listing where parts 2 and 3 are completely different, so what gives?

Oh I didn't know this one even had bonus tracks so I guess that answers your question.
He's crazy good live too so I'd say having Mistake as a live bonus would be nice.
Good ranking so far Demon! Proud of you 💖

"1. Zombie 2. Mister Follow Follow 3. Observation Is No Crime (Bonus track) 4. Mistake (Bonus track)" - the version I know
"A Zombie, B1 Monkey Banana, B2 Everything Scatter" (alternative version / re-release)
'Mister Follow' appears on the "Coconut" (Nigerian) LP release, the tracks 'Monkey Banana' and 'Everything Scatter' are on the "Celluloid" (U.S.) LP released a year afterwards. Adding this for my own ref and anyone else who was interested
...anyway, this is still lit! I dunno if the version confusion supressed my rating, but it warrants a bump on the strength of Zombie / Mister Follow

Zombie is still relevant today

It is but the weight of this context actually makes me enjoy the song less, I’ll be honest here.
I think the vibe is somewhat juxtaposed with the narrative / history, from a personal perspective

I get what you're saying. For me, I feel like it resonates hard rn since my dad's side of the fam were immigrants to the U.S. and seeing what's going down w ICE really makes it hit different now

Fair enough. It’s awful what’s happening, really is. Unbelievable in many ways.
A large part of my family history is non-British, so I feel it would be massively hypocritical to be in favour of erm let’s say Brexit (not that I would’ve been anyway) but that doesn’t seem to stop many people here. If you’re white & ‘look the part’ then you’re fine apparently (funnily enough I have Southern U.S. / conservative roots, which caused difficulties with my maternal grandfather at times… I’m not in contact with the rest of his family).
Eh. Erm life story. Sorry for the rambling. No, I can definitely see why this would resonate with someone given the current situation. Stay safe.
