The Hall of Fame is mostly business and music lobbies.

There are artists far less deserving than GNR already in there, though.

Just read this review for the first time, very well done. Especially in the first paragraph you describe Priest's contribution to the genre and their presence during the 70s in the best possible way.

I just need to add that this must be one of the most influential records ever (and that I find Invader, Saints in Hell and Savage nearly as awesome as the rest songs in here)

The longer songs on this album have better structures than the shorter songs, but even they have some kind of metal spirit running throughout. Great album, even if i heard the Strapping young lad cover version of 'Exciter' first.
