I haven't really had the time to check out much from this year, but it seems that I desperately need this seeing that a lot of people who have good taste like it. Hot damn even Kane likes it haha.

Agreed. I'm liking this more than H.H. atm. Gallows is solid as well.

Hahahahah I was just listening to this again this afternoon. I just can't seem to grasp anything remotely good with these guys. Guitar work harkens back to the 80s with little originality, keyboards are awkward and just sound downright silly, and the vocals are atrocious. I will never understand this mish-mash of randomness.

the influences may be random but the music sounds really cohesive so I think you're basically exaggerating to get attention. i mean, 'guitar work harkens back to the 80s with little originality', what does this even mean?

I don't understand everyone's problem with the vocals. Standard black metal vocals. Keyboards have a psychedelic feel to them, which add to the already spacey effect of the album. If you find the keyboards cheesy, you're looking for a deer and finding a wolf.

I hear little cohesion and the keyboards really make it hard for me to enjoy it. Also, it's not for attention, just stating my opinion. And the guitar description is vague, I know. They sound like stale, 80s thrash metal riffs. Sorry, I'm really trying to see what this is all about.

Jacktiger,

To comment on the keyboards sounding psychedlic, they sound like they were lifted from Pink Floyd's earlier albums when they sounded like they were tripping balls and taking their songs into meaningless directions. This Message Edited On 04.28.09

Wizard likes Coal Chamber and pretty much hates everything not named Neurosis. Seriously man, your constant negativity is concerning.
