Iluvatar (Eru) is basically the equivelent to god in The Lord of the Rings, he created all! (except dwarfs and orks*) He was the master of everything!!

*The Dwarfs were created by one of the Valar, Aule whereas orks were transformed from elves by Melkor (Morgoth preferred)
