yeah, that's the point, it is pretty bad(although I gave it a 3 since it had 3-4 good songs on it), but this is even worse, worse I tell you. This Message Edited On 03.13.09

Sam's town is poor, especially compared to Hot Fuss. But it has my favourite Killers song on it-When You Were Young.

Yeah the Spaceman video is pretty weak.

To say Sam's Town is worse than Hot Fuss is a pretty big stretch, but to call it "poor" is just ridiculous.

Read My Mind alone is better than the entirety of Hot Fuss. Add to that Bling, This River Is Wild, For Reasons Unknown.... damn, every single song on that album is incredible.

Spaceman is a really good song but otherwise I just don't like this album at all.

To say Sam's Town is worse than Hot Fuss is entirely accurate, and to call it "poor" is just TRUTH...

...damn, every single song on that album is bullshit.

Hardly, but Hot Fuss owns Sam's Town and this mega-hard anyways. Gave this another spin and found it to be quite ZZZ, downrated an entire point.

I feel like this album was too poppy.

All of the songs on it are great and it's very consistent, but I think the Killers could have been much more ballsy

I really like a Dustland Fairytale, but that's about it. When I was in 5th grade, this was the ONLY band I'd listen to so I guess their music has kinda died out. And then this came and I was like, "This band sucks." farewell Killer's fanboy self, farewell

The eccentricity of Brandon Flowers is all over ‘Day & Age’ & I doubt his band-mates would have been impressed. Most songs are catchy enough, yet there is a mid-tempo pace that leaves the LP a little flat. Only ‘Spaceman’ measures up to their past best, even if there is nothing too bad. The songs simply aren’t strong enough (especially the strange lyrics) for the most part and The Killers experiment with many sounds & instruments to cover this. It works well on occasions, but usually only for brief flashes. Still a solid release though & it could have been much worse. Recommended Tracks: Spaceman, Joy Ride & The World We Live In.
