Says the man who actually thinks Gucci Mane is a good rapper.

Now, now Hawks. That's a low blow.

Album is still fun.

Honestly this band is surprisingly good. This album definitely crosses into symphonic black metal, eschewing most of the metalcore stuff.

It is a lot better than Legend. I used to be HUGE on this album, but after finally getting into the genre...this album became MEH. It is too melodic, and melodic music gets old. It is pretty symphonic too which gets old as well. Album was very accessible and was responsible for getting me into black metal I guess, but there is so much better out there. The core elements are blown out of proportion by many people and in reality they aren't that bad or even that out of place. IMO the guitar work is nice but now that I have heard what the genre has to offer...there is definitely better out there in the melodic department. I recommend people check out Naglfar if they want to hear more melodic black metal that has good guitar work

Well Naglfar definitely destroys this band, but that doesn't really take away from this. This album is still solid.

I saw the name of the Funeral Pyre being thrown about a while ago. Lulz ensued.

I love this album, and never tire of listening through. It flows beautifully, everything is fresh and creatively written, and it simply never fails to impress.
