Hmm.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mae and this is always the first recommended but I do think this is a bit dull. I mean, I did like the album, but it's all a bit safe save a few parts which were the best bits :P
So i think they could be up there with a bit more experimenting and crescendo's/ drops/ harmonics
But still niceeeee

I'm bummed they broke up but they definitely ended on a good note. All good things must come to an end, but at least music lives on forever. Aaron's voice is so interesting and beautiful and this album does great justice for him. I've always thought of Aaron's voice as a really thick and bold version of Elliott Smith's voice. It's like angelic and airy but also super poppy and powerful. Anyways, an overproduced album it may be, but it works. It's supposed to be happy and powerful and they did a good job with it.
