I like them both.

I think the old one was a lot more metalcore-y, new one kinda fits better.

Fear Before just sounds more vague and intriguing. That is, if you know where they got the name FBTMOF in the first place.

This might be wrong, but I heard that The State of Texas vs. Fear Before was about them practicing in a condemed house that had some sort of religious connection (or something like that) and then getting arrested. When they were on trial they told the courts that they were a Christian band and were trying to get closer to God. I don't think that had anything to do with their band name being changed since they released another album in between that song and their name change.

Maybe they should sneak into the WBC and practice there. Hopefully, they will all burn as well. I mean, WBC had a fire that do much bad damage (like a fence and some random building) and it didn't yield suspects, but maybe Fear Before can expedite something by playing there.
