All I know is that Mikael sings more beautiful and yes he does vary his vocals so clearly you have never listened to an Opeth album. Just go hear the song Credence and go die.

Agreed. Saw them February 18 of this year at the forum. Amazing show. A 7 foot tall Cyber-Eddie came out wearing a Lakers jersey during Wasted Years (I think). At the end of the song, Bruce Dickinson, said, we are a heavy metal band and we don't give a f*ck about basketball. It was great I lolzed. All the members were jumping all over the place most notably Janick, Bruce and Steve.

I don't think you can frown upon the band too much for not having a lot of stage movement. I would much rather see a near flawless musical display than see them run around the stage like they were in Killswitch Engage or some other shit.

And once and for all, the only member of BTBAM that is boring is Dusty. Paul looks like he is having fun, Dan is bouncing around, the drummer is banging his head and rocking out, and Tommy is all over the place.
So, once again, Dusty is the only boring one on the stage.
