A bad album by Maiden standards is still a great album. This is still better than Fear of the Dark, at least this didn't drop such tracks as Weekend Warrior and From Here to Eternity. It's just it didn't give us any of their hugely popular tracks. Bring Your Daughter is pretty bad, but other than that this is pretty great. Mother Russia is awesome.

I can't prefer Fear of the Dark, I hate a third of the tracklist. From Here To Eternity, Chains Of Misery, The Fugitive and Weekend Warrior are all amongst the worst Maiden songs. Only rean I give it a 3 is because the rest of it is worthy of a 4 or 4.5 IMO. Judas Be My Guide is one of my favorite Maiden songs. Oddly enough, I really like The Apparition, in a way I would never be able to explain.

I'm fine with this one in its' entirety outside of Hooks and Daughter. That's only a fifth. Not quite as bad. Once again, I really like some tracks like Mother Russia and Fates Warning.

This is very hard to listem and only Maiden album I don't like, bland songs, uninspired, Dicikinson weird singing, few good melodies and that's it.
