I miss when Scottie Henry was in the band and the riffs in general just felt a lot more noisy and abrasive

Last couple don’t really give me that vibe and I’m sad about it

They are all pretty good but their recent output has been quite outstanding.

Obviously their first two are also amazing but yeah, it is hard to choose a favourite.

Band was a cult classic for me as a teen. I was 15 when I started going to concerts all the time and that was the year O God came out. Band was like a God of the scene by then and O God was so fresh and badass. I don’t feel about them like that anymore since around Wrongdoers, just the atmosphere of the band and mystique changed completely around Wrongdoers compared to before. Like they ascended some new level but it wasn’t necessarily better but more so…expected of them?

I do agree on both points you've made but they have definitely evolved as musicians and it cannot be denied how astute and great the sound on Polar Similar and All Hail is.

It sounds chaotic and directionless and thin without any of the fun for the most part

Idk how you can say O God sounds thin when this album, even though I love it, would rip in half at a gust of wind.

This album is definitely their least appealing sounding album

The drums and guitar have so much high end, it feels really unnatural

I went back and listened to this album again recently. To be honest this album is not as bad as critics say. I really like aspects of this album, the rawness not to mention lyrical aspects. Musically this thing hits in its own way This album is underrated imo. Vipers, Snakes, And Actors is one of my all time favorites from NJ. Death Of The Anti Mother, do me a favor go and listen to those 2 and tell me those don't deserve some love.
