Why has the breakdown become metal's pariah? At least this band doesn't blastbeat their way through an entire album.

I like breakdowns and blasts in moderation, stop your damage control please.

cuz breakdowns are boring and can be easily imitated by ones voice, in the kitchen, and frankly are far less enjoyable than smoother guitar lines and solos. blast beats are much cooler, and double bass in moderation is nice.

this is deffinentley a better band in the "Deathcore" catagory i enjoyed every song on this cd except for the last track which was kinda boring IMO but this cd deffinentley has alot of originality because none of the songs sound similair and there breakdowns are very original as well my only complaint is the vocals are kinda poor

lol this band is:

not deathcore

not original

The songs sound pretty darn similar and the breakdowns suck.

they are close enough to deathcore to justify not being corrected. the songs actually do differ quite a bit, mostly the non-breakdown riffs.

stop being a dick to people expressing opposing views on this cd

there are maybe two breakdowns per like 40 albums that are actually original...this band can be classified under deathcore but they wank around a lot more than normal so I dunno...progressive techy deathcore? eh...

The wankery deserves at least a 1 by itself and the songwriting (which is pretty bland and even awful at times) deserves around a 1 by itself as well...so I'm thinkin...2

This band TOTALLY suffers from Veil of Maya syndrome. I mean, I enjoy the CD, the shred, and endless breakdowns make for a fun listen, but outside of that, it has no real...substance. They need a new vocalist with more range, they need to cut out a lot of the frivolous breakdowns, and they need a real kick drum/snare/symbols, something about the drums on the album sounds entirely fake. Basically I like the cd, but fuck, it could have been a lot more. Maybe they should actually listen to Arsis, and learn how to write songs with shred in them.
