They're not the best. They have steadily improved over the years, but still need work. Their shows are more the fun, sing-along types, so if the venues are not filled with their fans, then the show would seem a bit ordinary.

I used to seriously have this on LP, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge is better but this is a great album for scene.

This held up remarkably well. I would put this up against any other record of their peers, and this is flat out better. The only contemporary worthy of comparisons to Queen.
