Yeah that one is pretty horrible too.

OK, the verdict is the album is really good in everything musical, but Wrest's vocals completely ruin it. There were a few moments where a particular scream would sound good, but in general his mumbling just pisses me off. I'll concede that his vocals do somehow fit with the music, but this could be so much better if he didn't suck at harsh vocals.

His vocal approach on this album is really strange. Leviathan's other stuff that I've heard has pretty standard black metal screeching almost 100% of the time.

Karl, why do you love black metal albums with LOltastic production?

I gave this a listen. It's incredible.

Joe, production shouldn't be an issue when you know what you're getting into (ie. Black Metal). This has a very nightmarish atmosphere to it and I find it compliments the music well.

Apparently I just don't get this album. I like all the other Leviathan albums... maybe I need to listen to this more.

Do the vocals sound like they come out of a comic book like they do on Tentacles of Whorror?

His vocals kind of remind me of a more tortured version of Abbath a little bit on this album.

He's actually come into his own on this album with his vocals. Read my description above:

Listening to this for the first time in a while. Album still rules. I haven't been listening to much metal at all lately, but I'm starting to get back into my normal metal self today.

I always forget the greatness of this album until I come back to it after a few months. Probably one of the best black metal albums to come out in the last couple of years
