I heard some live stuff recently and it could've been poor quality or something but his voice sounded really shot. By no means an attack on him or the band though.

Hard to comment unless we're hearing the same thing Romulous. Tim doesn't exactly have a classically trained voice & is occasionally a bit raspy live. But so would my voice if I had to do what he does.
