They can't keep time on this album at all... and I know that it's death metal, and to be expected, but can the songs get any more homogeneous? At any rate, I'm enjoying Human more. This is just a fucking mess.

Death's lyrics are hilariously bad. Some of their songs have admittedly interesting guitar passage introductions, but they always break off into something completely off-putting and overly uninteresting. I can see why people would mistake it for eclecticism.
