Though it doesn't surpass Cynic's Focus or Death's Sound of Perseverance (in my opinion) this album is fantastic. Love the bass, love the drumming, and like the vocals too. The lyrics are surprisingly good, from what I've gotten from Mother Man.

Honestly, all three are about as good, but I think that Piece Of Time=Presence, which is slightly better than Elements.

Never listened to Piece of Time but this beats Elements by far

Elements was so cool, i really liked what Tony Choy did for their sound, but, tbqh, Death>Atheist>Cynic.

Focus is amazing. This is the only Atheist that I've heard though, so can't really compare bands.

This surprised me, better than I thought it would be. Might raise to a 4.

This album is awesome and flows perfectly all the way through. I agree with the Death>Atheist>Cynic. But only because Cynic has a smaller discography than Atheist, if Cynic had as many albums as Atheist and they were as good as Focus and Traced in Air then my opinion will definitely change.

Cynic uses a jackhammer to chip apart death into a million small pieces which they then use to construct a sledgehammer with which they smash Atheist into a fine mash then used to make some tasty burgers with bacon and caramelized onions.
