This is definitely in my top 5 of their records. Amazing atmosphere and the longest songs like Watching Me Fall, 39 and T/T are amongst the best tracks they've ever made

This review is such a time capsule. You know it’s old when Xbox 1080s and tinier iPods are predicted to be a thing in the future

I gave this my first *real* listen last night and it's incredible. It gets its flowers on this site but I'm shocked at how little it's talked about in the grand scheme of their output. I'm a huge fan of the production here.

Indeed an amazing album.
It had been decades of this stuff prior to it being released so it all seemed a bit tired and churned out on first impression.
Holds its own though and is testament to how good the band are.

Only Disintegration is superior to this for me. It may not have the radio hits but it is an incredibly coherent and enjoyable listen with replay value.

a sneaky album that reveals itself after many listens, the true companion for those in resigned melancholy
