"There are billions of stars in the universe, yet the ones we see are incredibly far away. So far away that often the light we see is from stars that are long since gone."

That very fact makes Great Big White World all the more depressing.

Genuinely think Great Big White World is in the top 3 best Manson songs ever written.

I really wish he would get around to rereleasing the triptych albums on vinyl; they go for an extortionate amount these days. I was hoping as Antichrist hit 20 this year we'd get it, but all we've had for it so far is a Cassette release for RSD...

First time I ever played this album was when I was getting toenail surgery for an ingrown toenail. Started the album on my player whilst they were hacking away and now whenever I hear Great Big White World I associate it with having my toe numbed and operated on.

Don't see it as a bad thing or a bad memory, just takes me back to a time and a place more than anything else.

The strangest kind of nostalgia. I can remember everything as well, from the woman who did it, to the white tiles on the wall and the red tourniquet (also a Manson reference) they used. Weird.

If I'm being honest this is prolly my least favorite of his trilogy deal. Holy wood rules and I think the other one that I can't remember the name of atm was the tits.
