This album is most definitely a classic, it's a shame it launched a whole wave of watered down ripoffs though, as it pretty much spawned the new wave of "emo" and "post-hardcore" that infests music today. Seriously, how many of these bands have you heard try to build a song off of a riff similar to the one pioneered in "One Armed Scissor"?

Even all this time later, I can still put this album on and listen to it start to finish without ever getting the desire to skip tracks, the energy on this album is amazing. They manage to have more energy on a lifeless recording than most bands can even come close to touching live. I don't know how to fully explain it, but you'll know when you listen.

Pattern against user and Cosmonaut have to be the best songs on here. Sleepwalk Capsules is also criminally underrated. This Message Edited On 02.12.07

Best ATDI CD there is. Not a doubt when I say that, almost all the songs are good in some way or another. Although I would prefer if Cedric had better vocals with ATDI, the instrumentals and guitar makes up for it.

Cosmonauts and Arcarsenal are some of the best songs I have on my playlists.

My new obsession and inspiration. I don't see how I overlooked this band for so long, when one armed scissor and catacombs are literally genius. I need this album NOW!

One of my favourite albums of all time.

Best songs for me are Enfilade, Rolodex Propaganda and Catacombs is ace, which came on my Australian version.

Yeah I'd like to know why no one informed me of this phenomenon years ago. I bought this bad boy from amazon and it arrived 3 days ago and its the only thing I've listened to in that space of time. DEFINATELY my favourite album of all time, oh god I can't even begin to describe how this album makes me feel.

An EC hug sounds about as appealing as a rim job from Lewis.

I don't know what it is about this album, but it seems to have a .... quality. This isn't my type of music, when I first listened to it I gave it a 2. However, it slowly started to grow on me the more I listened to it. It has something....a quality... that makes it great.

I still can't stand the song Arsenal though.
