I was just listening to Animals and relized what great songs "Pigs on the Wing (both parts)" are. I mean, yeah, they are the intro and outro to the record, but have great lyrics and catchy chords.



This is a great review. I like how he mentioned that "Animals is unreal, yet real at the same time".

This album kicks arse, thanks mainly to the amazing work done by Messers Waters and Gilmour, from the sound effects to the solos to the lyrics themsevles and the impact all in total make Animals is an album to listen to , and as with WYWH, heavily underated by those "sheep" Pink Floyd fans who follow the Dark Side and Wall into the most main stream of the Floyd's sound sadly. But Animals is a definate listen to, while it might be a bit harder than it's predescessors this is still a stand out album from a legendary band.

this album is just unbeleivable. i love it so much. dogs guitar part is great, and the bass part in pigs is sweet. i still cant get used to sheep, but aside from that, this album is just awesome. this album gets a 5/5.

good review....this album is hard to convey if your not into the Floyd ...once i got into em i realised how freakin good this is.... i love listening to it in its entirety....

i love floyd, even though i only have "dark side" and "wall" , is this their next best?

It's better than both, actually, by far.

funny ive heard a lot of fans who have all their albums say those arent as good as other stuff they did, even on this site someone i think said "dark side" was their worst of the 70s
