Well gee I'm sorry I don't consider Rolling Stone's 100 greatest albums of all time list the musical bible...I used to like Radiohead maybe three or so years ago but I dunno...I got really bored with them...This Message Edited On 10.28.08

Rolling Stone don't really care for Radiohead, they were pretty underrated on their 500 best albums of all time list. Speaking of which while the list has several major misteps and include a lot of mediocre albums towards the end the first 100 >>>>>>>>> your music taste by a long way.

I wasn't even arguing with you I don't understand why you feel the need to be so hostile...I like the music that I listen to so I really don't care what you say about it...there is nothing wrong with the music I like, just as there is nothing wrong with the music you like...I just merely stated that Radiohead doesn't really "do it" for me anymore...

So i'm thinking this is my third favorite by Radiohead, behind OK and Kid A. This is really close with the Bends though. I still need to hear Amnesiac and In Rainbows.
2 + 2 = 5 is my favorite right now along with There There, A Wolf at the Door, A Punchup at a Wedding, and Where I End and You Begin.

I see this album as all of their albums meshed into one. Its not that its inconsistent but track after track is so significantly different from eachother. Its like "ohhh, this one could be on Kid A", and "Ohh, this sounds like a Bends outtake". Know what I mean?

None of the album sounds remotely like the Bends but other than that it is all over the place musically and fairly inconsistant. It still has a few of their best songs though.

^^ Yeah your right, but you know what I mean when I say some songs sound like they could have fit well on other albums by them, you know? In other words, Hail doesnt have much of a focused sound throughout it (to me, at least) much like how Kid A does.

I think for the most part it is focused, it just has a few songs which don't fit at all like Backdrifts, Myxomatosis, The Gloaming which completely ruin the flow of the record as they are spread across it. It also doesn't help that the songs which do flow tend to be the worst songs on the album.

Good review Wolf At The Door and 2+2=5 are best songs here by far. We suck young blood is an ok song and gives the album some variety without being a stand out track.

i'm about ready to give this a rating but so far i think its my favorite radiohead album. i tried going back and checking out their earlier stuff starting with the bends since i havent listened to that and pablo honey and its pretty hard outside of street spirit.

I think this is quite possibly becoming my favorite Radiohead album. I just really can't stop listening to it. Definitely comes between this and Ok Computer(though I really need to familiarize myself more with Amnesiac and In Rainbows).

Radiohead's 2nd worst after PH. Still good though, b/c radiohead kicks ass and chews bubblegum.

No way, I think Amnesiac could be their best.

This a strange one for me. The individual tracks are great, but it just doesn't seem to flow cohesively well together.
