Lol, not exactly what I was going for, Santa Garm.

And SotS first, but this immediately afterward.

I like Shadows better, personally, but many like this better. This has more of a trip-hop and nu-jazz flavor to it. Shadows is more experimental and has a pretty unique atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend getting both, but which one you listen to first is up to you.

Also, while I'm here, I'd like to once again note the last song on here is in-fucking-credible.

Possibly my favorite Ulver song.

Maybe I'll dress up as Garm in a futuristic mobster suit.

Also, this album sounds good as fuck on vinyl.

Better keep those sunglasses on hand.

I don't think there are too many other well-dressed Sputnikers who would be into this party, though, haha.

Doesn't vinyl just make everything better?

Yeah, except my wallet.

If the thought of getting all slick for a Perdition City-themed costume party doesn't make your package tingle even a bit, then I'm just not sure I can call you a true friend.

12fuckin3

Yeah, Blade Runner would be close, but it's more challenging to make people come up with a costume based on music than a given aesthetic.

And I'm a hipster throwing concept parties, whoooo!

Every time I see something Blade Runner-related, I think of Metal Gear Solid and the similarity between their logos.

By far, this is a much more accomplished record than Shadows of the Sun - conceptually, musically, and intellectually.

Not really, but it certainly is successful on all said accounts.
