In '93 I was sat in my mates garage strumming aimlessly at an acoustic guitar and sharing a joint. He put this on and after about 20 minutes I said "this is AOR shite" I was young and foolish but fuck me I was cool and right :D

"Album's still a pretty nice jam. The rest of their discog is still shite."
Recovering the Satellites though.

Them rose tinted specs are donned once again but looking back so much 'stuff' was happening and then this came out and was raved about but it meant absolutely nothing. Clinical radio fodder.

This guy was really off the rails on this album. The singer, I mean. How he performed 'Round Here' on that late night show, he seemed to be suffering. I've heard he had mental health issues. Even up til' 1999 when the band released the song Colorblind, he seemed to be writing about his issues. I don't know what's going on with him now, but he seems to at least chilled out somehow.
