Album rating oscillates between 4.5 and 5.0 for me. Its eclectic sound is very charming, but at times it can break the flow a bit.

“Like Cockatoos” followed by “Icing Sugar” are amazing.

Just Like Heaven is the clear standout here, but One More Time is almost as good, even with the sampled bamboo flutes.

All the sampled instruments really drag this down a lot. Sounds so artificial. Would've been better off with the recorder again (a la La Ment).

I count maybe 6-7 really worthwhile tracks, but either way, not enough to put this up with their best. Shame, cause if they trimmed the fat, this would be an easy 4.0. But I guess that just comes with the double/triple/quadruple album game.
