Maybe I just need to relisten but this is kind of spotty

24 = perfect opener
Medicine Bottle = A little long
title track = worst thing here
Japanese to English = Pretty good but a lil cheesy
Lord Kill the Pain = worst than 24, Medicine, and Japanese, but still pretty good
Michael = meh

This was really enjoyable, I just find the lyrics a bit too .. .literal i guess? seems like the wrong word but idk how to describe them

honestly this is good just wish there was more like 24 here, that's a perfect track

Fair enough man. Maybe in a few more listens...I just found the instrumentation so interesting in the first song, that dark atmosphere. It comes close on medicine bottle though, one o f the best tracks here

This is a high 3.0. Yeah the lyrics are pretty great, I think I just find his style a little cheesy when it's too .... fuck i don't know the word for it. Just plain. It's almost like spoken word but it misses the affect i think.

if you really want to hear kozelek expanding on that style of lyricism, listen to newer sun kil moon stuff like "benji"...it's like he's just talking to you

Yeah that's pretty cool, I think that would punctuate his plain tone more. Thanks! I will check that later. Will spin this a few times(actually really liked it despite the score) and probably get to their other stuff.

Hi, my name is rapper actor model Lil Dicky, and I'm hear to tell you about a glaring issue in our society - condom usage.

Gosh glad to know i'm not the only one going through that shit.

24 is maybe the most depressing song I've ever heard. Definitely one of my favorite songs ever(no joke btw). It's just so funny in the saddest way possible. All anyone else tells you is that it gets better. That as you grow up you grow out of it. But each way you wait for change and it never comes. It never fucking comes. Never.

It's all lies. Wake up sheeple. Just kill yourselves now and save yourself the trouble of living in this fucking world.

It's a good album, not sure I'll ever hype it as much as the people here seem to. Medicine Bottle is good, but yeah, not the best song ever or anything like that
