Eric Dolphy would've been as massive as Coltrane or Miles Davis if he hadn't died in Germany. Dude is so amazing with melodies. Such an innovator in every way. The bass clarinet is such a unique voice in jazz too. There was nobody like the dude. He inspires me a lot.



@zakalwe: My dad has diabetes. I might could develop it if I don't live properly. Dolphy actually died for diabetic reasons. Definitely need to get that addressed when you can. We need you staying healthy, my friend.
