Well, this is a decent review IMHO, although the person who wrote it got one major fact wrong: Infernus hasn't written any of the riffs on the album...or to put it *correctly* directly from source (Gaahl/King says so, and Infernus admits this is correct), *King* wrote all songs on the album, Gaahl the lyrics.
BTW, Gorgoroth never slaughtered any animals onstage. Gaahl is a vegetarian by reverence of nature. Sheep's heads can be bought in tons at any decent slaughterer's, presently impaled on a stick. But OK, if you think they're any cooler having actually slaughtered animals, by all means go on and believe it. Gorgoroth themselves (both factions) would probably welcome this little add-on to their image, what do I know? Do you think they actually crucified the 4 naked persons onstage aswell?
And to all of you who want to "avoid being sheep" or whatever in the BM lingo, if you have any brains at all, you would be able to read between the lines and see beyond the presented *image* of a band. Don't think you know the indivuduals in the band personally just because you've heard the rumours and the music. That's just being...easily fooled, which must be a runner-up for the most prominent characteristic of a sheep mentality. But then again, many BM bands consider most of their fans sheep anyway, albeit useful ones.
...and why it would be so negative that Gaahl is a confessing homosexual is beyond me. Actually, most black metallists should come out any day now, since it is one of the more blasphemous dispositions in the eyes of almost all of the christian churches , and it is a territory not yet explored by those blasphemous corpse-painted shredders.

heheh hawks10pec actually that was the first thing i did ..checked it way long back but couldnt find much except for burzum and old carpathian albums...no offense black fans but emperor is a bit boring....some suggested c.o.f which is more comical than dark...

Maybe you should try out The Pulse of Decay by Hades Almighty. They're pretty similar to Gorgoroth.
