He Wasn't is a kick butt song. I love it. I disagree with Brycey that her first album is better. That had worse lyrics.

i actually saw her tonite on leno. she had a good voice, sang a good song, and wasnt looking poser-ish.

I honestly don't hate this album. It's not my kind of music but it can give me something to defend Avril with from the countless hordes attacking the poor girl. She might not make great music but it's good to see someone at least trying to be taken seriously as an artist.

Not to mention the fact that I think she's insanely gorgeous and has a great personality. With or without make-up, I always hate those "no-makeup" pictures, I mean if you take a ton of pictures of anyone you'll get at least a few of them looking like monsters.

i find avril lavigne to be gorgeous. and i do like her voice. i havent heard anything from the album aside for singles, which i cant say disappointed me. i liked your review. short and to the point. nice job

sj_2150 I am banning you for three days. Stop rating every pop album a 1 unless you have solid justification for it. There is nothing wrong with disliking something, but at least provide some decent explanation for it. That way, you can offer a helpful opinion (albeit a negative one) to people wishing to check this out. If you just rate it a 1 and say 'yuck', people are more willing to think you are a trigger-happy retard rather than considering your opinion. Think about it.

I'm not sure is Avril posed Velvet Revolver or vice versa. But they both have songs called "Fall to Pieces". Although, regardless of who posed who, velvet's "Fall To Pieces" song is much better. Avril's "Fall To Pieces" is just rubbish, as is the rest of this album
