I would count Signify among their psychedelic era but it is very much a transitional album.

Signify is like Up the Downstair + Stupid Dream

Yeah it does have a lot of the psych elements from their previous albums but for me it marked their transition away from the full on psych of their really early stuff and towards the sound of Stupid Dream, as both of you have referred to above.

Just finished this. This was pretty sweet and all but it doesn't really have a sound of it's own. Many parts were basically Floyd haha

Then again not having a sound of it's own isn't always a bad thing. Dislocated Day was fucking awesome.

Wilson does other band's sounds better than he does his own.
