exile is pretty cool. the guitar tone on here is really unique but im not sure if i like it, even after all these years of returning to this album.

Yeah so production is pretty ass on this, you can hear clipping and channels battling each other pretty frequently on here. Doesn't help that this guitar tone is so fuzzy either. I do like it but it kinda hurts a bit to listen to after a while coupled with the production. Overall a fairly solid album with a couple of standout tracks. I am now of the firm opinion that Soilwork has never truly released a bad album but this is certainly their weakest.

Exile has a great chorus but it's soooo disconnected from the rest it's pretty jarring.
